When the City of Panama City acquired this building and decided to turn it into a breezeway, they knew it would need a prominent wayfinding element so people can easily spot the way back to their cars. That’s where I entered the picture!

We explored a few different compositions and lettering options for their desired phrase of “Welcome to Downtown”, and landed on this super-saturated, beveled type. It’s always a treat when clients go with my secret “favorite child” of the design options I present, and that was definitely the case here!
