Emerald Coast Magazine reached out to five muralists throughout the panhandle of Florida to create freestanding murals for their 2023 Best of the Emerald Coast Winner’s Soiree event. I was honored to be selected as the representative for Panama City!

In meeting with my fellow muralists, we chose a united color palette to use as well as the theme of the five senses— reflecting the indulgent sensory experiences on offer at the gala from winning vendors. I created this floral composition with manatees to represent both "scent” and the marine wildlife of our area.

It was such a joy to collaborate with four other incredible muralists in my local area! The artists of the other pieces from left to right are: Maxine Orange, Lindsey Tobias, Sarah Page, and Daniela de Castro Sucre.
