When the Carltons and 3rd Planet reached out to me to design + illustrate promo materials for their inaugural Bluegrass Stomp festival, I was beyond excited to capture the laid back and community-centered spirit of this new event in a design.

We had a blast brainstorming ideas that felt like summer and true to the festival’s ‘grass roots. After much deliberation (over a few beers), we decided to move forward with this down-home swamp critter band as the focus of our collection.

Pairing animals with their most-likely instruments and getting the band in formation was such a fun illustration to put together! Getting to collaborate with the musicians and brewers hosting this festival was truly a dream come true.
